William and Dana Marriner are the owners and operators of Peaceful Pastures. The two have over 30 years of combined experience in medical, funeral, and death care services. They have a profound love of animals and truly enjoy helping others. They know the pain and grief associated with losing a pet and the need for their dignified care. This is why they decided to pursue this pet aftercare business. 

Dana is a funeral services professional. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2005, receiving the A.J. Nunnamaker Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and Exceptional Leadership Amongst Mortuary Professionals. She has worked as a Funeral Director & Embalmer in both city and rural locations for large firms in Cincinnati and Columbus Metro Areas. She has assisted thousands of people, from all walks of life during very difficult times. Her working history also includes surgical technology, organ and tissue recovery, hospice bereavement, waitress, and cashier. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, gardening, fishing, and arts/crafts. Her dislikes include sleeping late, wasting time, decaf coffee, and black licorice.

William, known by most as "Willis", is an Organ/Tissue Recovery Specialist. He is a graduate of the Western School of Health & Medicine. He has over 20 years of experience, working with transplant services in Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Tampa. Most recently, he has traveled the U.S. as a National Trainer for Tissue Recovery Services at Axogen, Inc. He has helped thousands of people receive life-saving and life-changing gifts through organ and tissue donation. His history also includes serving in the U.S. Marines, an anesthesia technician, manufacturer, delivery truck driver, and dairy farmer. He is a true renaissance man with a wide range of knowledge and know-how as a "Mr. Fix It" utilizing his out-of-the-box thinking and MacGyver-type skills. He enjoys hiking, camping, survival skills, and woodworking. His dislikes include paperwork, laziness, in-store shopping, drama, and soggy pizza.

They are proud to bring the option of aquamation to this community, knowing it brings the opportunity to comfort those who are grieving the loss of their beloved pet.

Moses Bradley Marriner

Moses Bradley Marriner hails from Toledo, OH.  He plays an active role in our daily schedules, maintaining oversight and "compliance" of all duties. He strives to ensure all meal and treat breaks are taken and fully utilized. He enjoys long walks, herding, boxing, especially bobbing/weaving, and naps. His dislikes include: carrots without ranch, bananas, box trucks, and men wearing hooded shirts or jackets

 

Django Joseph Marriner

Django Joseph Marriner hails from Ashtabula, OH. He oversees all security operations of the facility and staff. playing a supportive role in all daily tasks. He enjoys dancing, agility, balloons, turtles, and carrots with or without ranch. His dislikes include; toenail trims, vans with no windows, men wearing hats, men wearing sunglasses, or a combo of both.

 

Annie Gertrude Marriner

Annie Gertrude Marriner hails from Adams County, OH. She squeezed her way through our fence gate at about six weeks old. She was malnourished, scared, and on death's doorstep until she wound up on ours. We took her in and nourished her back to health. We attempted to find her a loving home, as we were not planning on another pet just yet. She ended up finding the perfect home, which was here with us. She helps to keep everyone in line and on their toes. She enjoys, hide and seek, digging, running, wrestling, and anything her brothers are doing. Her dislikes include; ear cleanings, runny eggs, vacuums, blow dryers and bicycles.
